TMS has developed and made calculations for gangways and mooring/fendering systems on behalf of both Dutch and international clients. Designs had to take into account cases as earthquakes, heavy ice, vibrations and rigid classification/rules.

Gangway systems are often used in maritime applications (ship to shore). TMS has also designed ATEX EX explosion-safe systems.

Fendering systems are used to allow ships to dock more quickly and safe. Large forces needs to be transmitted in a smooth way to quay and ship.
